Installed these in a laser setup and the lack of distortion along the focal line was immediately noticeable. The fused silica material handles UV exposure without any degradation I can see.

The focal line stays parallel to the cylinder axis exactly as described, which made aligning my beam-shaping setup way easier than the spherical lenses I'd been fighting with. Fused silica grade means it handles my UV source without any visible degradation so far.

I was worried the fused silica would chip easily, but the edges came clean and the UV transmission is noticeably better than the borosilicate pair I used before. The cylindrical surface generates a really tight focal line for my line-generator setup, no visible distortion across the whole length.
