For a simple imaging setup, these lenses focus collimated light to a clean spot just as expected. The fused silica material seems clear and free of bubbles. Only giving 4 stars because they arrived without individual protective sleeves.

Plano-Convex Lenses, S1-UV Grade Fused Silica

The parallelism spec is tight enough for our test setup, and the 60-40 scratch dig kept surface artifacts minimal. Only minor quibble is the lead time was a bit longer than expected.

Witness Sample, Transmission, 1.800-2.000

I needed precise optics for a laser setup, and the 80-50 scratch-dig surface quality on these 5λ/inch windows delivered perfectly—no distortion at all. The +/- 0.125 mm diameter tolerance made fitting into my mount a breeze.

Commercial Quality Windows, Circular, Borofloat 33

I needed these for a collimated laser setup and the fused silica material handles the IR wavelength well, though I wish the coating options were listed more clearly. The lens itself is well made with a clean surface, but the packaging could have been better to avoid any risk of scratches during shipping.

George P. ★★★☆☆

Plano-Convex Lenses - I2-IR Fused Silica

I needed a few clear windows for a laser project, and the surface accuracy at ≤2λ per inch for the 6mm thick ones is spot on for my needs. They arrived well-packed and the edges are clean, no chips or scratches.
